Supporting Women in Gaza to Enhance Economic Sustainability During Crises
As part of the project ” Strengthening resilience and improving economic opportunities of vulnerable groups and communities in Gaza and the Jordan Valley,” implemented by the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine (ESDC) in partnership with Oxfam and funded by BMZ, seven small women-led projects in Gaza have been supported.
The initiative aims to empower women in rural communities by providing essential support to their projects, including equipment, tools, and raw materials to enhance production. These projects focus on food industries such as pastries, sweets, and dairy products.
This support provides sustainable income sources for women, even amidst the challenging circumstances in Gaza, reflecting the project’s commitment to empowering women and strengthening their economic and social resilience in the face of adversity.
