Continuing Humanitarian Support: Distribution of Hygiene Kits to Displaced Families in Gaza
As part of ongoing humanitarian response efforts in Gaza, the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine (ESDC) implemented, in collaboration with ACCEPT International and with funding from the Japan Platform, the project “Assistance for Enhancing Sanitation and Hygiene Support for Displaced Families in Middle Gaza.” The project aims to improve the health and preventive conditions for displaced families in shelter centers by distributing essential hygiene kits to 868 beneficiaries from displaced families in central Gaza.
The kits were distributed following a thorough needs assessment, with full coordination with camp management committees to ensure fair and effective distribution. Despite the security and logistical challenges in Gaza, the project successfully addressed the needs of displaced families, improving sanitation and disease prevention in the difficult conditions faced by the population.
