Distributing Plastic roofing for green houses and agricultural water pipelines

Within the project strengthening resilience and improving economic opportunities of vulnerable groups and communities in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, which is implemented by Economic and Social Development Centre of Palestine (ESDC) in partnership with OXFAM, and with funding from the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture. The ESDC supported and assisted farmers affected by weather conditions by delivering to them plastic roofing for greenhouses. The number of rolls delivered reached 1,866 rolls in the governorates of Nablus, Tubas, Jenin, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem, where the number of beneficiaries was 1,234 male and female farmers.

The ESDC also, within the intervention to help farmers access agricultural water, distributed water pipe lines in Jericho Governorate (Al-Auja, Marj Na’ja, Zubeidat, and Deir Hejleh). The total direct beneficiaries were 235 farmers (male & Femal (. The length of the pipe lines was 8.4 KM (6.2 KM 4 inch, and 2.2 KM 6 inch).
