Distributing Vegetable Baskets to the displaced families in Kan Younis and the Middle Governorates
As part of the emergency response efforts to address the catastrophic humanitarian situation caused by the brutal war and ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestinian distributed 5,330 vegetable baskets, with 3,000 baskets distributed in Khan Yunis Governorate and 2,330 baskets in the Middle Governorate. This intervention is part of the emergency response project in Gaza, implemented by the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestinian in partnership with Oxfam and funded by the Canadian government (GAC).
The project activities included employing many laborers to provide income for a group of heads of households in displacement areas, aiming to support the resilience of citizens in those areas. The project also aims to provide food amidst the difficulties these areas face in obtaining the minimum food requirements.
